Welcome to Treasure of Knowledge Christian Academy

TKCA is a ministry of El Shaddai Christian Church. Our academy serves as an extension of the Bible-believing Christian home and the local church, working harmoniously with parents and guardians to achieve God’s purpose for their children.

Our founders Nick and Yordania Acevedo began TKCA in 2004. Dr. Nick Acevedo, was an educator for many years before accepting the call to become the Pastor of El Shaddai Christian Church in 1995. As a former educator, it was always in his heart to start a school where children could learn and grow in the knowledge of Jesus Christ.

We serve students as young as 3 years old all the way to 18 years old, Pre-K 3 through 12th grade. We long to equip students to be ready with the skills that they need to succeed in today’s world while also preparing them spiritually to endure life’s battles. Below you will find information about the main curriculums we use. Please keep in mind that we may supplement with other resources to enhance the curriculum or to meet certain needs.

Pre-K Curriculum:
  • BJU Footsteps to Fours

What will be considered when selecting students for TKCA?

  • Previous grades
  • Academic needs

We care about your child’s education so we must consider the above carefully and if our school is the right school for them to fulfill all their academic needs.

We do not provide ESOL or ESE services.

If needed a diagnostic test will be given to further analyze the student’s abilities. The diagnostic will determine the student’s academic abilities, identify any learning gaps, and determine eligibility before accepting the student into the school. Upon acceptance to the school, the diagnostic will also effectively place the student into the curriculum and serve as instructional guidance for the teacher (please note that if a student is transferring from a school using the A.C.E. curriculum, they will not be required to take the diagnostic).

Once accepted you will receive a phone call or email from the school notifying you of the next steps.

FINAL decisions regarding acceptance will be determined by the school administrators. We take pride in making sure that TKCA will be a good fit for every student we accept by analyzing several factors.
